1. Outline
Glass Fiber Chopped Stand Mat is an important non-woven
reinforced material in GRP hand lay-up process. CSM is made from
chopped strands, which are produced by chopping fiberglass strands
or twistless roving. The chopped strands are randomly distributed,
and then held together with a powder binder or emulsion binder.
Chopped Strand Mats are widely used in GRP chemical resistance
pipe, boat, auto parts, sanitary ware, building unit, entertainment
or daily life products. The GRP products possess good mechanical
strength and products application performance.
This production line produces CSM by chopping fiberglass strands
or roving. Its main characteristics are good homogeneity, high
automatic operation level, low energy cost, easy maintenance,
and etc. Its designed width is 2.6 meters and annual production
capacity 3000-5000 tons.
This production line can produce E-glass and C-glass Chopped Strand
Mats with power binder or emulsion binder.
2. The Production Process
Twistless roving (fiberglass strands)¡úchopping¡úchopped
strands following on the net¡úadding binder¡úhydrofuging and drying¡úcold
press¡úcutting the edge¡úcross cut¡úinspection¡úwrap-up¡úpacking.

Wrap-up Manner: wrapping up with a fixed length and changing the
roll automatically

Main workshop: Length 60M, Width 15M, totally 900 square
meters.
Auxiliary Workshop: 150 square meters.
Warehouse: 200square meters for materials and 400 square meters
for finished products.
